To continue the it’s been hot theme, it’s also been very dry. So the marsh is crazy dry as well. I didn’t catch any good pictures, but the pannes are all just cracked dried up mud right now. (The pictures above are all just low tide – it’s really easy to tell which areas are tidal the moment.)
