Lord Sunday – Garth Nix

So this series ends in a way that really does make sense, but still comes across as a bit of a reset back to the beginning.     I’m really not sure how I feel about it.     Part of me feels cheated, but on the other hand, it was stated early on that Arthur was only made the Heir because he was about to die, so certain things that follow just make sense if you keep that in mind.

I liked the detailed world, and I liked the characters.      And it is a younger readers book (I think it’s technically the level below YA), so a certain simplicity to the story should be expected.       I think I need to keep adult sensibilities out of it, and just enjoy the series for what it is.
